This month marks a huge milestone for me. Ten years ago, in May of 2012, I set up Somerset Private Tutor. All I can say is WOW! I don’t know where the last decade has gone but I am so happy that I made the transition from classroom teacher to private tutor. Watching the student’s blossom into the amazing young people is a joy and a privilege. I have been lucky enough to walk with literally hundreds of students on their journeys through their GCSEs and their A Levels.
On top of this, in the last few years my online agency, Core Tuition, has grown beyond anything I could have expected. I am so lucky to have so many lovely current & former teachers on my site. Many of them are now enjoying the freedom to teach when and where they choose, having also swapped the school classroom for a virtual one.
Thank you to all of my students and their families past, present and future. I feel so lucky as I do truly love working with wonderful young people every day.
