Maintaining a high level of knowledge recall

Students often struggle to recall the topics that they have already covered, especially as the GCSEs are often started in Year 9. As more knowledge is poured into
their memories, they start to find that they can’t recall the subjects learnt in the past leading to a feeling of panic. I will help them to remember their past knowledge and develop skills to embed what they have learnt. Once your child starts to feel more in control, they will start to see vast improvements in their ability to recall past topics.

KS3 Science and Maths

These lessons are designed to embed the foundations for skills and knowledge that your child will need to do well at GCSE. The content is tailored to the individual needs of each child and Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths can all be covered.

KS4 Science and Maths

These lessons can be tailored towards either Combined or Separate Award GCSEs, depending on your child’s requirements. Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are all taught up to Grade 9 level. We will also practice revision techniques, exam techniques and relaxation methods.

A Level Biology

Biology: All of the modules of the first and second year of Biology are taught (some aspects of Human Biology can be taught – you will need to discuss this with Marta). Exam boards that are covered are: AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.
